Based on 102 reviewsCabizerra Bistro is widely praised for its authentic Filipino cuisine, offering unique dishes not commonly found in other Filipino restaurants, particularly a variety of goat specialties. Customers frequently highlight the flavorful and freshly prepared meals served in generous portions. The bistro’s staff are consistently described as friendly, warm, and accommodating, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the restaurant space is compact with limited seating, it remains clean and well-organized, leading many patrons to opt for takeout during busy times. Feedback also suggests minor room for improvement in drink options, but overall, Cabizerra Bistro is recognized for excellent service, reasonable prices, and distinctive, well-executed Filipino flavors.
All the employees are very friendly, warm and accommodating. Their foods are always newly cooked and warm. Place is a bit small to dine - in, but it is organized and clean.
Amazing food we had in separate bowls and shared. Nothing quite like it in my life! First time and delicious Just would like a cup of tap water and not bottled water.
One of the best pork sisigs I've had. Staff were also really friendly and patient in answering questions about the menu. I'll come back for sure.
Limited selection of dishes but these dishes aren't offered by most Filipino restaurants. And they do it real well. They have different desserts as well. Only been there once around lunch time on a saturday and it was packed. Most people bought it to go as there is limited seating. Only 2 sets of tables with 4 chairs each inside. But the food is great, portions are more than what your money is worth. And the service is good for how busy they get. Not sure if there's a washroom neither.
This is my favorite place for Filipino food. The restaurant offers goat, pork, fish, chicken and beef dishes. My favorites are sinampalokang kambing (goat in tamarind soup), pinapaitan (gall-flavored goat) and kilawing kambing (chopped goat skin). Service is always excellent and prices are very reasonable.
The best kaldereta. The goat meat doesn't have a funky aftertaste. It takes skill to cook goat without having the gamy, funky aftertaste or smell.
The food is great, but the reliability of this restaurant's opening hours on Google is not accurate, so disappointing that you are driving from Vancouver, and it says open on Google but when you arrive it's closed due to renovation. This did not happen once to me, but twice! Is it hard to update the Google business hours? Please be considerate of your valued customers coming from other cities!
Not really for dining in but their food is always great. They let you call ahead and reserve food for pick up later in the day. It's best to call in the morning right as they open because they sell out rather quickly. They have a Facebook page and they post what they cook for the day in it.
